From first valuation to final settlement, Lindgren Advisors supports industrial equipment stakeholders — production companies, capital providers, and investment groups — at every stage of the asset lifecycle.

The name Lindgren Advisors reflects a straightforward operating philosophy: an advisor's job is to give the right answer, not the convenient one. That means the appraisal desk and the sales desk operate from the same set of numbers, and neither one is permitted to shade the other. It means we tell a seller when the market won't support their expectation, and we tell a buyer when a machine is priced below what its remaining life is actually worth. And it means every engagement — whether it begins with a single grinding cell or an entire production facility — gets the same discipline behind it. The practice was built around the categories where valuation errors are most costly: EDM equipment, where capability differences between machines are invisible to a generalist; thermoforming lines, where the value lives in the tooling and the setup as much as the press; and precision grinding, where condition determines everything and cosmetics can deceive. Those disciplines trained the advisory standard. Every other category on the floor benefits from it. Lindgren Advisors does not inflate appraisals to win listing assignments, does not accept acquisition work from buyers while simultaneously representing sellers in the same transaction, and does not recommend an auction when a negotiated sale would return more. The advice is the product. The transactions that follow from it are the proof.

Lindgren Advisors is organized around a single operating conviction: the quality of advice a manufacturer receives about their equipment should never depend on which transaction path generates the highest fee. That conviction shapes every engagement, from the first phone call to the final settlement. Engagements typically begin with valuation work — a documented, written appraisal establishing fair market value, orderly liquidation value, or forced sale value for any class of production asset. The categories we cover span the full industrial floor: EDM cells, thermoforming lines, and precision grinding equipment lead the practice, alongside injection molding presses, blow mold systems, extrusion lines with their extruders, rotational mold machinery, die cast equipment, CNC machining centers, Swiss turning cells, metal stamping presses, fabrication equipment, automation and auxiliary systems, rubber and silicone processing lines, mold packages and tooling inventories, and tool and die toolroom assets. A written appraisal from Lindgren Advisors is built to hold up in front of a lender, a judge, or a conference table full of acquirers — not to support a number someone has already decided they want. Once the valuation is documented, the disposition path follows from the numbers rather than from our preferred transaction type. We purchase equipment outright when a seller's priority is speed and certainty — committed capital, no contingencies, no waiting on a buyer to materialize. When the timeline or the asset profile calls for a different approach, we structure and manage consignment arrangements, working the asset through our North American seller network and our active international buyer reach until the right transaction closes. Auctions and managed liquidations enter the toolkit when a defined endpoint matters — plant closures, lender recoveries, and estate situations where maximum return inside a fixed window is the objective. On the other side of the market, Lindgren Advisors works acquisition engagements on behalf of manufacturers who need a specific capability and would rather have a disciplined advisor hunting for it than spend internal resources chasing the used market. We source, vet, and negotiate on the buyer's behalf across every category we handle. For transactions that extend beyond the equipment itself, Lindgren Advisors manages complete business sales and turnkey facility exits. We handle the contracts, real estate, and M&E as a single coordinated transaction. Everything — the operating entity, the tooling, the physical assets — moves under one advisory relationship rather than getting handed off across three different firms pulling in different directions.
